Mid-Year Very Merry Book Giveaway: Royally Yours

It’s July 1, which means our Mid-Year Very Merry Book Giveaway officially gets underway today! All month long, you will have the chance to win an eBook copy of some of the best Christmas fiction books in recent years.

I just love all things Christmas! The traditions, special church events, family snacks we wait all year for, familiar festive music, decorations…you name it. If you’re like me, Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas movies top the list. Holiday books bring the same excitement for me. Small town settings are my favorite, with festivals and snow and swoon-worthy romances. Sigh!

In fact, I love these Christmas stories so much, I’ve written one! At the end of our month-long giveaway, I will join with several other author friends to announce our 2020 Christmas collection! There will be a cover reveal and some other extra, festive fun.

But first, let’s get in the mood with our Mid-Year Very Merry Book Giveaway featured books! First up is Royally Yours: Royalty Meets Small-Town Charm in Four Heartwarming Christmas Romances. This collection includes novellas written by Liz Johnson, Melissa Tagg, Ashley Clark, and Betsy St. Amant.

  1. This will be the first Christmas without my mom who passed away in February of this year…I don’t know how Christmas will be

  2. All our family live in the same city we do so we are fortunate to spent every Christmas at home. Our daughter and her family live right across the street!

  3. My family is all spread out and it is just my husband and 2 daughters. Even though they are grown and live away from home, they always come home by Christmas Eve so they can wake up in “their own beds” on Christmas morning. Growing up, we always went to my grandmother’s house, the entire family and it was so special.

  4. I am very blessed to have most of my family on both sides living close by, so my favorite place to spend Christmas is with my family–parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. (It usually gets pretty noisy too!)

  5. My favorite place to spend Christmas is in Alberta with my husband’s family – it’s usually cold and snowy and full of family togetherness and remembering the babe in the manger who came to be God with us!

  6. We decided early on to stay at home for Christmas and I don’t regret it. We will probably never have a white Christmas in Texas but I’m ok with that because we can’t drive well in snow anyway.

  7. Christmas 2007, I had my first white Christmas since I was living in Colorado Springs at the time. My part of Texas doesn’t get much snow.

    1. Our daughter moved to NJ, so I have been fortunate to spend part of the Christmas holiday in NYC. It was truly magical, but made even more special because my family was together.

  8. My favorite memory I hope to recreate one day is going back to NYC at Christmas. We lived there when I was a little girl and there was nothing more magical than the angels in Rockefeller Center. It was on a city bus that I first met Santa, too! He got on, came and sat next to me and talked to me for a bit. He then reached into his pocket and gave me a tiny Santa figurine. I was heartbroken when it turned up lost in one of our many moves, but it started my Santa collection! 🎅🏼

  9. My favorite place to spend Christmas is right at home…one year, we postponed our Christmas celebration to the 26th (which, leading up to it, seemed torturous). But it was one of the best Christmases- no hurrying off to parties, just relaxing with family all day long. It was wonderful!

Man, now Christmas seems so far away!

  10. A favorite place to spend Christmas is right at home with family. I like to snuggle down in jammies for the day and just veg after opening presents. Who wants to fight winter weather to get somewhere and have to a of other people there too?

  12. I might be too late, but I saw this yesterday & had to hurry off to get a C-19 test done & got sidetracked. 😢 No symtoms, just normal protocol for a procedure I need to have done.
My favorite place to celebrate Christmas used to be with my family at my mom’s house in Tucson, Arizona. But since she passed away I’d rather stay home surrounded by my kids and grandkids. Christmas is especially beautiful in SC!

  13. I am happy to have many memories of time with family at Christmas. My dad had 3 sisters and 2 brothers, so it was always a giant feast full laughter and stories. No tangible gifts were exchanged, but gifts of love and memories were all that were needed ❤

  14. I love simply being with family at Christmas. But recently that has changed and I felt so loved and wanted when a friend invited me to her family Christmas. ❤

    1. Aywhere that family is – that’s the best place for Christmas. I’ve always loved the inn that the General has in the White Christmas movie. I always imagined how lovely it would be to ride in a horse-drawn carriage on white, thick snowy roads – wearing a lovely hooded cloak and my hands all warm in a “muff” and a blanket wrapped around my legs. Beautiful setting – in my dreams.

  15. I would love to spend Christmas with my entire family in a small town like the ones in the Hallmark movies where everyone knows everyone else and the town goes all out for Christmas.
Thank you for the opportunity to win a free book.
God Bless you and your family.
