I like the description of her memories as she sees the cottage. It makes me think of my grandmothers. Next is the description of Laurel Cove because it describes the town closest to me perfectly.

I really enjoyed the way you likened his feelings to the final chord of a bluegrass song. Very image provoking. But thinking of grandma on the porch tugged my heartstrings.
