It’s time to dust the cobwebs off this blog and get back to regular posting.
Not to say we’ve not had some fun visitors, most recently my friend and fellow author Jaime Jo Wright who answered some fun questions. What’s more, the WINNER of a free copy of Jaime’s latest novella collection, Of Rags and Riches, is Diane Buie! Diane and I have already touched base and she’ll be getting her copy soon. Enjoy!
Housekeeping To-Do List:
- Set Schedule. I’ll be posting about my own writing, life, faith and more every Tuesday. Thursdays will be open for guest posts, author interviews, giveaways, etc. If you’re interested in being featured contact me here.
- Organize Posts. I’ll be working to clean up the tags and categories of my posts so they’re easier to find and search. You’ll be able to browse posts for readers, writers, giveaways, interviews, and more.
- Fluff Design. If you’re like me, sometimes you just have to move the furniture and hang some new pictures! So, during August, I’ll be working to “fluff” the look and feel of the blog. I’m excited to share some ideas I’ve got with you!
- Build New Pages. I’ll also be working on some new areas of the website that will allow me to share a little more of my passion to encourage others through my faith as well as fun every-day doing-life-together stuff. Can’t wait!
Is there anything you’d like to see included here on the blog or the whole website? What do you most enjoy reading or browsing? Leave a comment telling me about your ideas.
Reinvention and Grace
If you’re a long time follower, you may have noticed a shift in my “mood” and regular engagement in this blog and social media following the release of Someplace Familiar. I’ll be posting some reflections on this soon, but I felt an urging from God to step back and simply be. Listening instead of talking. Thinking instead of doing. And a lot of times, that leads to some kind of reinvention. I hope most of you have stuck around and are willing to extend me some grace while I tip-toe back in to this more regular, but hopefully more manageable, schedule. Thanks, friends.
