I’m in a season of collecting. Often, when writing words down on paper (screen) is easier said than done, I turn to swooping up bundles of inspiration in my wide open arms. I’ve been noting interesting people…oh, I bet she’s got an interesting story. I’m categorizing the changing landscape of spring, pinning images of the Blue Ridge in summer for my current work-in-progress, and even taking notice of outfits that reflect a character taking shape in my mind.

I love the stairs leading into water! I think I could sit in that spot and write for hours (with a cushion under my bum) because it just looks so peaceful.
